Podz Eyewear Inc. with the help and support of salons and distributors has raised over several thousands of dollars for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Last year, I ran the Race Against Breast Cancer, this year on Sept. 16th I will run again like so many others who support the cause.
This race is a 5K Walk/Run @ Washburn University Law Campus, Topeka, KS.
The RABC offers free mammograms year round to women who qualify. A comprehensive breast cancer-screening program created for women who live and work in Shawnee County and six surrounding counties in Kansas who are in need of financial assistance.
If you have a community outreach program in your area concerning the fight against breast cancer or trying to raise money or a victim of breast cancer please email me christy@podzeyewear.com and describe your event and win a chance for free product to help you raise money for your loved one.
This year Podz sponsored Island Tan, Topeka,Ks. with a Free Retail Display of Pinked Podz all the proceeds went to their loved ones medical bill in their fight against cancer. Their loved one lost the fight one month shortly after the raffle and donations and we would like to give our condolences. So many are affected by cancer, shortly after I received the news about their family member my next door neighbor was diagnosed with breast cancer. Join me in the fight and let's help educate others about early detection.

If you'd like to get involved there are 120 cities and communities across the globe and more than 100 Komen Races for the Cure events in the United States and internationally.  Start by going to ww5.Komen.org or simply join Podz in the fight when you purchase Pinked Podz and a portion of proceeds will be donated to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Thank you for your support.
