I had the honor of going to New York this past September. Several big events were going on during my week-long visit; it was the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 and fashion week. Security was high with gunmen and military inTimes Square, while hundreds of fashion gurus were on a treasure hunt to win a $1,000 shopping spree.

I remember Rock the Vote from the 1980's or even MTV, it has been around for the last twenty years encouraging the youth to vote and educate themselves on topics. Everyday 13,000 teens turn 18 and now with Rock the Vote's easy registration everyone can learn very easy.

Podz brought the convenience to your customers by creating a new and exciting way to carry eyewear. We accomplished this by a simple carrying case concept, and by utilizing the key chain option. Its innovated design changed the way we looked at eyewear. Later Fashion and Soft Podz were designed, giving new shape and color pallets to eyewear. The buzz and opportunity to make money from eyewear sales became more relevant. People stood up and captured their customer’s attention by private labeling their eyewear, taking Podz to a marketing platform.

My husband loves this new app on his ipad called Stumble upon. You can customize it to find random articles or information about things that interest you and he brought this article to my attention. This reminds me of the same similar issues of what has been put out about the sun and tanning beds.

Looking at cultures across the world there is many different perspectives when it comes to tanning or golden skin. As Americans we look as tanning or tans skin as a fashionable, healthy and sexy look, which is popular across the United States and Canada. However, on the other side of the globe, people do not view the same Golden Dynasty or perspective on tanning. For them, it's white dynasty. For example, in China white means beautiful. When a baby is born, the parents start to consider or judge the baby's beauty especially girls on how white their skin tone are. White skin is one of the most important factors that determines if she will be looked upon as a beauty or not, bases on the purest of white.
